On June 19, 2021, Research Center for Human Centric Engineering (HUMIC RC) has held an online seminar entitled “Advantages and Risks of Cryptocurrency” by inviting Mr. Reza Zia Ul Rahman, S.E., M.M. (trader), as a speaker. This activity is a form of community service carried out by HUMIC RC by providing exposure and tips on how to invest using cryptocurrencies. This activity was guided by Mr. Aulia Khamas Heikhmakhtiar, Ph.D., as moderator, and the event was opened by Mr. Satria Mandala, Ph.D. as director of HUMIC RC. This activity was attended by the general public from institutions throughout Indonesia.

During the event, Mr. Reza first explained cryptocurrency in general by explaining what are the advantages, disadvantages, and money management of cryptocurrencies. As for some of the tips that Mr. Reza conveyed about how to trade well, including:

• Control Emotions
• Have a target profile
• Buy low, sell high
• Don’t be too enthusiastic
• Do analysis
• Read news
• Getting too involved

After Mr. Reza finished his presentation, the activity continued with a question and answer session and discussion with the participants until the end of the event. We hope that this community service activity can provide knowledge and benefits to participants, especially those who want to try investing using cryptocurrencies.
